Announcing our Sixth Season

AUDITIONS!
De Angelis Vocal Ensemble will be holding auditions on Monday, June 21st in San Juan Capistrano. We are currently auditioning for:
Bass/Baritone – permanent & substitute positions
Tenor – substitute position
Alto – substitute position
Auditions are by appointment only. If you are interested in auditioning, please e-mail Lauren McCaul (laurenmccaul@hotmail.com) to arrange an audition time. Please attach your Curriculum Vitae or Resumé to the initial e-mail.

What to bring/How to prepare:
Please prepare one art song or oratorio to perform. An accompanist will be provided, please bring a copy of your piece for our accompanist. The audition will also include a short interview as well as sight reading and ensembleship exercises.

Thank you to all who were a part of de Angelis Vocal Ensemble's Fifth Season! We are looking forward to another year of creative programming and beautiful sounds for 2010-2011. For those of you who may be interested in auditioning for de Angelis Vocal Ensemble, we will be holding summer auditions in June. Please check back on June 1st for more information regarding dates, times and requirements.
Since 2005 we have brought a different voice to the artistic tapestry of Orange County. The de Angelis Vocal Ensemble is unique to Orange County and the greater southern California area. We present compelling and diverse programming that is uncommon to this genre. Little in way of caliber, performance or sheer beauty can match what this ensemble brings to the community.
Both the de Angelis Board of Directors and I would like to encourage you to purchase a season subscription this year. Subscription tickets are money in the bank for our organization; something that is critical to our continued success. Subscription tickets also provide our supporters with a modest price reduction for tickets purchased. Not only will you save money, but you will be part of the unique programming that is changing the Orange County arts community!
