About the Ensemble
| De Angelis Vocal Ensemble,
led by founder and Artistic Director Matthew Gray is a professional
ensemble of 18 voices. The choir was founded in 2005, and is dedicated
to the very highest quality of music performance. Matthew Gray is
beginning his third year as Director of Music Ministries at Mission
Basilica San Juan Capistrano. Mr. Gray is committed to preserving
the great classical choral music tradition. He has pulled together
a group of eighteen professional singers from the southern California
area, who, like him, are passionate about well-prepared music and
who are dedicated to the highest standard of performance. He is further
committed to aggressively pursuing new ideas and methods of performance
presentation. |
